I founded St. Michael's Shield Homeschool Academy on a truth I discovered while raising five children of my own: no two  educational journeys are alike. Some of my children flourished in a traditional classroom, others thrived at home, and some benefited from a combination of both; a lesson that taught me the right educational path is not fixed, but discerned thoughtfully for each child, in each season of life.

Over years spent in tutoring, reading intervention, educational advocacy, and homeschool consulting, I encountered many parents who weren't seeking someone to homeschool their children for them, but rather a trusted partner to walk alongside them, someone who would listen, offer encouragement, and honor their family's values without judgement.

I established this academy to meet that need. It was not built on the premise of having every answer, but on a commitment to creating a community where children are known individually, where parents are welcomed to ask questions freely, where faith is woven naturally into learning, and where no family has to navigate the homeschooling journey alone.
